What I Watched - "Megashark Versus Giant Octopus"

While researching a pod of whales in the Arctic a team of marine biologists unwittingly release two prehistoric creatures of the deep frozen in battle for millions of years. Released from their icy tombs the two creatures proceed to terrorize the seas and, in more than one scene, the skies. Only Deborah Gibson and her ragtag group of misfits can stop the monsters, so essentially the world is screwed. Taken for what it is and not what it isn't, this film is amazing and has everything you could want out of a movie about a Mega Shark and a Giant Octopus: action, comedy, terror, ducks. Please go in with an open mind and realize that the effects are not going to be on par with Jurassic Park or even Carnosaur, but the story is exactly what we need in these troubled times.
